Unrouted IP Adresses

Hi,
what are unrouted IP Adresses ? I accessed some proxy servers from by hetzner and then my server hoster wrote me:

QUOTE However, please note that it is forbidden to access unrouted IP addresses.
Please update your Proxy server list or contact the vendor, so that the list isn't containing unrouted addresses.



Means what? What are unrouted IP Adresses?

About which IP address they talking about? For example: all private network addresses are unrouted for the Internet.
Maybe you try to access to a network address in the local network that is not routed for an access from the Internet.

it was ip adresses which did not work... and thats why hetzner paniced... we had a script error ...

In what way did they not work? I dont know what you mean by that. Work for what purpose?
