Online Marketing: Absolute Beginner. Where to start?

Hello everyone

I've always had an interest in marketing, and now I have a lax semester of uni coming up, I would enjoy trying my hand at online marketing. However, I do not know where to start at all. What is a good platform to advertise on? What is a good product for affiliation? I know a bit about SEO and have a little experience in copy writing. However, my technical skills are not phenomenal.

What I am asking, what is a good starting point for absolute beginners? Are there any good free resources out there? Any tips or leads you may have?

I am doing SEO for a very long time. In the past SEO was totally different and nowadays SEO is changed to UX... Now google will reward you if you are doing white hat seo. Whitehat SEO means to rank the site by natural backlinks by giving the best quality content to the users.

From an absolute beginner......in 2 minutes to an long term SEO. Congratulations!
